Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

It’s time to play ‘Lego or lasagna’.

One at a time, you’ll step behind the screen and put on a pair of boots.

In one pair, there’s lasagna. In the other, there’s Legos.

You will then complete a simple activity in front of Atle, and he will guess whether you are wearing Lego boots, or lasagna boots.

If he’s right, you’re eliminated. If not, you’re through to the next round.

In the first round, you should walk past the steps and stand on the marker.

Task notes

The contestants are lined up side-by-side along the back of the stage with bare feet and their trouser-legs rolled up.
On the left-hand side of the stage, there is a screen, behind which there are pairs of wellington boots containing either Lego bricks or lasagna (and also a pile of towels for the contestants to clean their feet with).
There is a marker spot on the stage, just in front of Atle, which the contestants must walk to while wearing their chosen boots in the first round.
In the second round, the contestants have to traverse a set of steps positioned in the middle of the stage while wearing their chosen boots.
This task bears some similarities to the ‘Mislead the Taskmaster about the contents of your case‘ task, but is distinct enough to be categorised here as original.
