Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!
- David brought in an empty toilet roll tube.
- Ed brought in a compilation of stressful sounds including a baby crying, nails on a chalkboard, and a train leaving the station before you get to it.
- Jo brought in the musical score for Bach's Toccata in D Minor, which she had to perform at the Royal Albert Hall, and also demonstrated in studio, on a keyboard provided by Alex.
- Katy brought in a hand-made teapot with the spout and handle on the same side, and a an unremovable lid.
- Rose brought in an unspooled cassette tape, onto which she claimed she had recorded the identity of the person who killed JFK (which she had conveniently forgotten).
