Task brief
The brief for the task is as follows:
Get your shoe furthest down the Knappett.
For each round, you may choose one shoe to throw, and you may only throw each shoe once.
You must stand on the spot to throw your shoe.
The contestant whose shoe is least far down the Knappett will be eliminated at the end of each round.
If anyone’s shoe falls off the Knappett, or does not pass the green line, they are disqualified.
Task notes
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side along the back of the right-hand side of the stage, each standing behind a wooden box containing a variety of shoes.
- The edges of the front face of each box are painted in a different colour for each contestant, matching the colour in which the shoes within have been painted.
- The shoes available for throwing include a flip-flop, an open-heeled slipper, a flipper, and a boot.
- The Knappett has been set up at the front of the stage, and has a green line has been taped across it, about halfway along its length.
