Task briefs
The initial task brief is hanging from the ceiling in the lab. The follow-up task brief is on the table in the caravan. The briefs for the task are as follows:
Go to the caravan.
You must enter the caravan within two minutes after David leaves the lab.
Recall the things hanging from the ceiling in the lab.
Also, recall the things David told you.
Whoever recalls the most things wins.
You may not leave the caravan.
You have three minutes.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- The objects hanging from the ceiling include a toy bicycle, an apple, a toy moose, a rubber duck, a dealer’s visor, a heart-shaped hairbrush, a piggy bank, a roll of toilet paper, a megaphone, and an oil lamp.
- The things David says to the contestants at the start of the task include: “Hey, man!”; “Did you catch the game last night?”; “You can step up to your spot.”; “Oops!”; “Too far.”; “Pepa pepa. Salt and pepper.”; “Have you seen my little cat?” [a line from a well-known Swedish nursery rhyme]; “The train is departing for Testberga, toot toot!” [a play on the place name Tystberga; this is translated as ‘Taskville’ in the fan subs].
- In the caravan, a magnifying glass has been propped up against a rubber duck on the table near the second task brief, to aid the contestants with reading the small-print list of the items which were hung from the ceiling, printed on the back of the task brief, should they find it.
