Mastertask notes:

In this version of the task, the bell is suspended above the ground, instead of lying on the grass. Also, points are awarded in a linear fashion based on speed of completion, rather than only the fastest and slowest competitors earning points.

Task briefs

The initial task brief is laid on top of a bowling ball on a plinth outside Mark’s house. The second task brief is in Mark’s possession. The briefs for the task are as follows:

Ring the bell with the bowling ball.

You must not touch the grass, unless you’re wearing golden shoes.

Fastest wins.

Your time starts now.

Mark will give you his golden shoes if you do one of the following things:

Transfer 500 kroner to him.

Give him a perfect soft-boiled egg.

Physically take them off of him.

Task notes

A red carpet has been laid out on the lawn, leading from the main house to Mark’s house.
A sign reading ‘Græsset må ikke betrædes’ (‘The grass must not be stepped on’) has been set up next to the carpet.
Mark is wearing a pair of shiny golden patent leather shoes.
A second set of golden shoes is also available in a basket just outside of the kitchen in the main house.
A pair of work boots and cans of gold and red spray paint are available inside the storage shed half of Mark’s house, but the caps of the paints have been swapped around.
Some distance away across the lawn, there is a large bell suspended above the ground from a tree.
