Mastertask notes:

In this version of the task, the contestants choose their own animal to mimic to the Taskmaster in each round, writing it on a chalkboard. If the Taskmaster is unable to identify their animal, they are eliminated. At the end of each turn, the contestant must also nominate the next person who will play. To prevent the Taskmaster from seeing what animal the contestants have written on their board, or any gestures they might make, he is seated with his back to them.

Task brief

The actual text of the task brief is not known. The text below is paraphrased based on information disclosed in the episode:

Write the name of an animal on your board, and then make the sound of that animal.

Atle will attempt to guess which animal you're trying to imitate.

If he guesses correctly, you’re through to the next round.

If he gets it wrong, you are eliminated.

At the end of your turn, you must nominate the next contestant.

You may not make the same noise as anyone else.

Last one standing wins.

Task notes

The contestants are grouped together at the rear left of the stage, three seated on a bench, and two stood behind them,
Each contestant has been equipped with a framed chalkboard, a piece of chalk, and a damp cloth for wiping the board clean.
Atle is seated on his throne at the right-hand side of the front of the stage with his back to the contestants.
After confirming to the contestants that they may not repeat any animal sound said by anyone else, Olli proceeds to woof, meow, baa, and moo, immediately removing four of the easiest options from the table.
As the contestants are eliminated, they must take a seat on one of the tiny golden chairs set up at the right-hand side of the stage.
