Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Sebastian makes his bird sound first, and does a pretty generic whistle, to try to fool Lasse into thinking he is someone else (and not a keen ornithologist who can presumably do much better). Lasse is not fooled by his deception, and identifies him correctly.
  • Simon steps up to the spot second, and avoids making any noise with his voice which might give his identity away, by instead getting down on the stage and 'pecking' at it with his forehead, making a thumping sound. However, Lasse immediately identifies Simon as the source of the noise anyway.
  • Julie makes her bird noise third, and makes a strangled 'caw'-ing sound with her throat. Lasse correctly identifies her, based on this.
  • Eva steps up to the spot fourth and, after some hesitation, quietly whistles a simple tune. Lasse seems very confident that she is Martin, who is well known for his whistling. As the only contestant not correctly identifies, Eva wins the task.
  • Martin makes his noise last, hesitating for a while before making a strangles 'mew'-ing sound. Lasse realises that he has incorrectly identified the previous contestant as Martin, since he is sure that it is him in this case.
