Make something edible / Eat your creation

  • In this task the contestants are instructed to make something edible (e.g. the most exotic sandwich, the longest piece of Christmas confectionery, a beautiful edible sculpture).
  • In a second task brief, sometimes assigned and scored as a separate task, they are then instructed to eat their creation.

Original version

Create and then eat an exotic sandwich

In this version of the task, the contestants are first instructed to create the most exotic sandwich, and are then instructed to eat their sandwich. The two parts of the task are scored separately.

Adaptations

Make and eat the longest piece of confectionery

In this version of the task, the contestants are instructed to make the longest piece of Christmas candy possible, and are then instructed to eat as much of their creation as possible. The two parts of the task are scored separately.

In this version of the task the contestants are instructed to make a 'magnificent' sandwich, rather than an 'exotic' one, and are given a 200 kronor budget to buy their ingredients.

Create and then eat a beautiful sculpture

In this version of the task the contestants are instructed to make an edible sculpture of a specific weight, and then instructed to completely consume their beautiful sculpture. The two parts of the task are scored separately.

In this version of the task, the contestants are instructed to make an edible musical instrument, and then either attempt to play it and be scored based on how ‘authentic’ it sounded, or else eat it within three minutes for a guaranteed 3 points.
