Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Sort seven items in order by the number of faces/sides that each object has.

The object with the lowest number of sides goes to the far right, and to the left you should put the objects with more sides.

You may only touch the objects with your face.

If anything falls off the table, you're disqualified.

Put on the opaque goggles now.

You have 10 minutes.

Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • The colour palette used for Ana's items in this task is yellow. She starts off the task feeling apprehensive – both because she cannot see and because she is worried about her makeup. About midway through, she gets into it, mainly using her mouth to identify and move items. She earns three points.
  • The colour palette used for Enio's items in this task is red. He throws himself into the task nearly immediately, and is somewhat aggressive with his facial exploration of the items, often using his mouth. He earns four points.
  • The colour palette used for Ante's items in this task is blue/green. He mainly uses his cheek and chin to identify and move items. He also declares that a banana has a different number of sides, depending on how ripe it is. Eventually, he knocks the egg off of the table, which as the task states, results in disqualification. Despite being disqualified, Ante still earns one point.
  • The colour palette used for Igor's items in this task is blue. He mainly uses his cheeks to identify and move items. He is the only contestant who seems to actually try to specifically identify out loud what the objects are (for example, he attempts to classify what type of cheese is on the table). He earns five points.
  • The colour palette used for Lidija's items in this task is orange. Prior to the task being shown, she declares in the studio that she considers this to be her worst task of the show. She spends a significant amount of time continually bumping into the large container of water on the table, and has some difficulty locating the other items. She eventually groups most of the items into the centre of the table. She earns two points.

Notes on task scores

  • Even though the task brief indicates that contestants will be disqualified if anything falls off the table, Ante is ultimately awarded one point for his attempt.
