Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Gilmário’s dance is very simple, and is set in a cabaret. He and Nuno wear top hats and jackets, and basically just walk to the beat, before wiggling their hips at the end. Of all the contestants, Gilmário and Nuno were the most in sync during the dance. Gilmário comes joint third.
  • Inês' dance is set on a playground, and her dance is clearly modelled off of children’s programming – lots of smiling and waving, simple steps, and skipping around. Inês comes joint third.
  • Toy’s dance is set on a farm, surrounded by flies. He and Nuno walk in place, clapping; eventually, they are overtaken by the number of flies and fall on the ground. Toy says that the Taskmaster house had a lot of flies, and that all his time spent not doing tasks was spent dealing with the flies. Toy comes second.
  • Jessica and Nuno dance among falling snow, dressed in ponchos and hats. They each represent half of a snowflake, coming together. The entire dance is just turning around; at one point, Nuno gets dizzy and has to leave the dance to compose himself. Jessica wins the task.
  • Manuel and Nuno perform the same steps, but at no point are they in sync. Midway through the dance, Nuno has his Patrick Swayze moment, and (semi-) lifts Manuel into the air. Manuel’s dance looks more like a workout routine than a dance. Manuel comes joint third.
