Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Standing in a line, draw the most faithful image to the original.

Markl will show a drawing to the last person in the line.

The last person in the line must draw the figure on the back of the person ahead of them.

The person at the front of the line should draw, on the paper, the image they think they had drawn on their back.

You have one minute per drawing.

There must be no communication.

The team with the most accurate drawings wins.

Task notes

  • Unlike in other versions of this task, the teams remain in the same order in every round, with the same person always at the front.
  • One team consists of Carla and Gilmário, with Toy, Jessica, and Inês making up the other team.

Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • In the first round, Carla thinks she drew an elephant/duck hybrid. They were supposed to draw a rubber duck. The team wins the round. In the second round, Carla thinks she drew a horse or a bunny, but her instinct tells her horse. They were supposed to draw a donkey. The team loses the round. In the third round, Carla thinks she drew some sort of chair. They were supposed to draw a church. The team wins the round and, with 2 wins to 1, the task, earning 3 points each.
  • In the first round, Jessica thought she was supposed to draw Nuno’s ear and glasses frame, but thinks she actually drew a cross between a rhino and a rainbow. They were supposed to draw a rubber duck. The team loses the round. In the second round, Jessica once again thinks she drew an ear. They were supposed to draw a donkey. The team wins the round. In the third round, Jessica draws a bunch of angled lines that don’t really look like anything. They were supposed to draw a church. The team loses the round and, with just 1 win to the other team’s 2, the task, receiving zero points.
