Attempts
Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!
- Inês begins dressed as Nuno, complete with a printout of his face on the back of her head. She tears the suit away to reveal herself in a glittery dress, but has difficulty stepping into her high heels, eventually just abandoning one. She tops off the look with a pair of pineapple-shaped sunglasses. Inês wins the task.
- Carla begins dressed as a butler, complete with hat and massive beard. She steps out of frame, and (eventually) re-emerges as herself in a flowing striped dress. Carla comes joint third.
- Gilmário begins dressed in track pants, a jacket, a cane, and a top hat. He steps behind a curtain and very slowly changes, eventually emerging in a different pair of pants and a smoking jacket. His two looks are not particularly different; it appears that Gilmário didn’t fully understand the task, as he pushes an argument in the studio that the task did not say to change identities, just clothes. Gilmário comes fourth.
- Jessica begins dressed as an ox. Nuno raises a curtain to cover her, and she (eventually) emerges from it dressed as Bruno Nogueria, a well-known Portuguese comedian and television host. Jessica comes joint third.
- In introducing Toy’s clip, Nuno lists off several ways in which Toy is a rebel – all to reveal that Toy has not understood the task. Indeed, Toy understood the task to mean to change into every item of clothing that was on the table when the task was presented. He does put his all into it, singing songs and dancing, creating different characters based on what he’s wearing. For the sheer entertainment value of it all, Toy comes second.
