Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Live decides not to discover anything about Isabelle that she can give her an actual deserved reprimand for, instead launching into an aggressive spiel about her age, talking to her as if she is mentally and physically incompetent, and yelling at her to drink her tea and eat her cake. Isabelle awards her fourth place, stating that her reprimand had been "powerful".
  • Through her questions, Henriette determines that Isabelle had previously worked for Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) for over 30 years. She uses this information to reprimand Henriette over the fact that her own mother had been unable to get a job as a flight attendant with the airline, because it was determined that she was not pretty, tall, or thin enough. She suggests that Isabelle, after 33 years at the company, could have influenced change, but that things are still the same today. She also accuses her of being part of a selfish generation, sitting on their fat pensions, while those who work today will have to work into their old age instead. Isabelle awards her second place, stating that she had found a relevant topic for her reprimand.
  • Through his questions, Espen identifies that Isabelle is seeking out opportunities to appear on TV, in her retirement. His reprimand starts off slow, but he soon builds to criticising her for trying to become famous, when she should be looking after her grandchildren instead. He calls her an "attention-seeking old hag" who has spent her life "showing herself off" as a flight attendant, and now seeks to become a celebrity. Isabelle is initially shocked by the tirade, but then seems to find it all highly amusing, since Espen had really connected with something. Indeed, Isabelle awards Espen first place in the task, stating that he had "hit the nail on the head".
  • Kristoffer starts off by criticising Isabelle's posture and appearance, but then zeroes in on her acting skills, as she attempts to feign her reaction to his criticism. At the end of his reprimand, he throws the rose from the vase on the table at her, and she throws it back at him, as he goes to leave the room. He then doubles back and gives her a hug, though, telling her that he loves her very much. Isabelle awards him third place, but makes no specific comment about his reprimand.
  • Through her inital questions, Martha determines that Isabelle had a cat when she was younger, and that she lives in the posh Bygdøy area of Oslo. She then delves into thornier territory, asking how many sexual partners she has had, and at what age she lost her virginity. Her reprimand then begins with physical intimidation, before moving into insulting her choice of residence, her name, and her appearance. She then begins to question how Isabelle's cat had died, suggesting that she herself had been responsible. She runs out of time on this avenue before having an opportunity to rebuke Isabelle for her sexual history, which appeared to be her endgame. Isabelle awards her just 1 point for her effort, stating that it was "not a reprimand", but was "rude", and that Martha had offended her with what she'd said about her cat.
