The task brief is found on a plinth with a cat's collar, with a small bell, laid on top of it, between the Taskmaster house and the lawn. The brief for the task is as follows:
Let the cat out of the bag.
Once you touch a bag, you must open it.
Fewest bag openings wins.
Your time starts meow.
Task notes
- The task takes place on the lawn by the Taskmaster house, where 100 red nylon drawstring bags have been laid out, in the shape of a cat's head with the word 'CAT' written across it, and an arrow pointing towards one specific bag.
- Each bag contains both a stuffed cuddly toy and an item indicating the 'hot'-ness or 'cold'-ness of the bag's location, in relation to the bag containing the target cat (ranging from ice cubes to a chilli pepper).
