In this version of the task, the contestants are specifically instructed to call an older family member. There is no rule preventing them from remaining silent once the phone call has begun.

The task brief is found balanced on top of an old-fashioned rotary phone on the table, in the study. The brief for the task is as follows:
Call an older family member and make them hang up on you.
If they suspect you want them to hang up on you, you will be disqualified.
Fastest wins.
Your time starts when they answer the call.
