Attempts
Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!
- Linnéa sets up her catch near the shed. She declares that she’s going to release a ball on the table, and catch it in a flaming bucket. To make her catch spectacular, she puts on a blue sequined hat and tells David to set off a confetti cannon after she catches the ball. Linnéa acknowledges that the throw was not spectacular, but the task dictated that success was all in the catch. Babben awards Linnéa fourth place.
- While looking for inspiration in the shed, Nikki asks if David is good at throwing; he responds that he can throw “pretty well, actually.” She finds a plastic globe filled with ping pong balls, and has David use the leaf blower to launch them her way so she can catch them in the globe. She then switches to tennis balls, and David throws them quite a respectable distance to Nikki, who manages to catch one after a few tries. At some point, David starts launching the tennis balls from a lacrosse stick, and Nikki catches one of those shots as well. Babben awards Nikki third place.
- Henrik carries David’s referee chair down to the docks. He tells David that the most spectacular catch he could do would be to catch something dangerous (a dart thrown by David) while in mid-air. Not only that, but Henrik declares that while catching the dart, he will wink at the camera and say the name of the show. After missing his first catch, Henrik manages to catch the dart before hitting the water (though does not wink and talk to the camera, as promised). Babben awards Henrik second place.
- Måns grabs a bucket of rubber ducks from the shed and puts them in a van that presumably belongs to the production. He and David drive to a nearby busy road, and Måns tells David to block the road parallel to it [it seems to be a pull-off lane that joins back with the main road after a short distance] with the rubber ducks. David stands behind the rubber duck barricade with a megaphone, instructing people to stop. A woman on a bike stops to ask what is going on, and Måns informs her (in English) that they need to “capture” her. She declines, and rides away. Soon, someone pulls off the road to turn their car around, and Måns informs the man (Kåre) that they will not be allowed to do that. Måns pulls Kåre out of his car and proceeds to wrap him up in chains, insisting that “rules must be followed.” When Kåre confirms that he knows who Måns is, David replies that it is a relief, otherwise the whole situation would be uncomfortable. Måns loads Kåre into the back of the van and drives back to the Bäst i Test house. Måns puts a net on Kåre’s head to indicate that he has been caught, and to make it spectacular, Måns places a rubber duck on the ground in front of Kåre and sets it on fire. Babben awards Måns first place.
- Marko decides that he wants David to be some sort of wild animal. Searching around the shed, Marko finds a lasso, a cowboy hat, and a horse mask, and informs David that he will be a horse. After a brief interlude of Marko playing on a harmonica he found in the shed, Marko tapes a sheet onto David and has him put the horse mask on. David, on all fours, plays the part of a grazing wild horse, and Marko tries to lasso him. After missing several times, Marko just walks up to David and puts the lasso around his head. He then proceeds to hogtie David and play the harmonica to celebrate his catch. Babben awards Marko last place.
