Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Images will be added later.
- Henrik rides a bike to an open area where he has set up several chairs. He is wearing a black bin bag and a long piece of white lace (likely a curtain) over his head as a mourning veil, and cries while he rides. David and his coffin are set up on a table, which is surrounded by plinths supporting candles and photographs of David, as well as a giant wooden cross with Bäst i Test signage on it. Henrik puts his hand on the coffin and sobs. Taped onto the coffin are two pieces of paper, one with ‘1979(ish)-2022’ written on it, and the other reading ‘David Dorsin’, with the last name crossed out, and then 'Sundin' added below. Henrik reads a eulogy for David, highlighting his love of animals, specifically foxes. In tribute, Henrik performs the ‘fox’s dance’ - he dons a fox mask, plays Ylvis’ The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?), and swipes his hands at the camera. He also sings a farewell song to David which appears to be of his own creation, and sounds somewhat like Kermit the Frog while he sings. Henrik then declares David deserves a double funeral, so he climbs into the coffin as well, attempting to close the lid with both of them inside. Babben awards Henrik fourth place.
- Linnéa holds David’s funeral in the shed, which she has filled with candles. The coffin is placed upright against the wall, with David standing inside (complete with stopwatch and clipboard). She enters the shed, ringing a bell and wearing a bridal hat and veil on her head. She picks up a microphone and delivers a eulogy for David, mentioning that he was a brother, a father, and a spouse “to several”. Linnéa sings an upbeat song about how the day is so lovely, and is accompanied by the deceased David. After her song, Linnéa closes the coffin and entombs David in the shed. Babben awards Linnéa last place.
- Marko and David move the coffin to just outside of the shed, and Marko tells David to climb in. Marko says that the Vikings would put coins on the eyelids of their dead, so he will do so as well. The ‘coins’ Marko uses are actually two colourful tokens with smiley faces on them, which he declares will help David get to a happy place. Marko eulogises David, calling him an adventurous man, so it is only fitting that David be sent off with one final adventure. Marko then picks up a nearby hose and begins to soak David, declaring that David loved diving and fishing. Marko traps the hose in the coffin and closes it, then releases a confetti cannon against the lid of the coffin. He then sits on the coffin while David screams due to the pressurised water hitting and soaking him. Babben awards Marko second place.
- Nikki sets up David’s funeral in front of the caravan, which has a sign on it reading ‘Ett Sista Skratt’ (‘One Final Laugh’). Nikki says that David was adored for his “dry, charming dad humour”, and she believes that is the best way to honour David. She removes David from his coffin, and sits him in a deck chair in front of the caravan. She says that if David knew a tour would be his last, he would name it ‘Ett Sista Skratt’, so that is what she sets out to do. Nikki gaffer tapes a microphone into David’s hand, and gaffer tapes his arm to his body in an upright position, so it vaguely looks like he is delivering stand-up, even in death. She then sits nearby in a deck chair, also holding a microphone, and starts telling dad jokes as David. She also laughs after each joke, serving as David’s audience. Babben awards Nikki third place.
- Amie wonders who she can invite to stand witness to David’s burial. She pulls out her phone and starts to make some phone calls. Amie’s footage then cuts to the dock, where David’s coffin (with David inside) has been placed in a boat. Amie, wearing all black, approaches the coffin with a young man (Ludvig Kronstrand from the Swedish hip-pop group Hov1), who is also wearing all black. Amie delivers a eulogy for David, pointing out that his goal in life was to “sell the most books and games, host all television programs that exist, and tell a lot of jokes”. Amie’s eulogy isn’t all jokes, as she drops the poignant line “In Gimo [David’s hometown], there is now ‘before’ and ‘after’ David Sundin”. Amie gives David a final “tackar tackar” (David’s catchphrase) in tribute, before throwing some flowers onto the coffin. Amie and Ludvig then push the boat away from the dock, and each pours out a drink for David, before Ludvig recites some poetry, and a montage plays, showing David looking particularly ridiculous over the seasons (along with some of Bäst i Test’s contestants). Babben awards Amie first place.
