Task brief

The task brief is found on the table in the living room, where two chairs have been set up, rather than the usual one. The brief for the task is as follows:

Invent an imaginary companion, then complete a domestic task with your imaginary companion.

Your imaginary companion must either be much taller, or much littler, than you.

Most poignant scene wins.

You have 20 minutes.

Your time starts now.

On top of the task brief, there are two friendship necklaces, featuring the two halves of a red heart-shaped wooden pendant with the letters 'T' and 'M' on them.

Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!

Frankie invented a little imaginary companion called Andy that liked cookies and had been at imaginary school. However, whilst Frankie was on the phone, Andy arrived home and climbed into the oven to get the cookies Frankie had been making. Frankie ended up closing the oven door and burning Andy alive, whilst screaming in horror. He received 5 points.
Ivo invented an unnamed little imaginary companion and the two were washing their cars. However, as Ivo was talking about going on a road trip, his imaginary friend drove off and left him behind. He received 4 points.
Jenny invented a taller imaginary companion called Ed who she was cutting the hedge with. However, as she turned to hear the ice cream van, Jenny accidentally chopped off Ed's head, causing her to sob uncontrollably. She received 2 points.
Kiell invented a little imaginary companion called Louis who he was doing the washing up with, whilst talking about his life plans. However, as Kiell was putting away his washing up gloves, Louis fell down the drain. He received 3 points.
Mae invented a little imaginary companion called Salvatore who they were making soup with, whilst reflecting on their friendship. However, Mae accidentally knocked Salvatore into the soup, and Salvatore ended up boiling alive, causing Mae to let out a tear. They received 4 points.
