The task brief is laid on top of a jack-in-the-box, on a table inside the geodesic dome. Inside the usual task envelope, there is a smaller, pop-up task envelope, with the actual brief written on it. The brief for the task is as follows:
Make these things pop when the timer hits zero.

Task notes
- Also on the table, there are: a toaster with a window in the side, and two slices of white bread already inside its slots; a party popper; a pop-up monster toy; a small glass bowl containing three pieces of bubble gum; a cat feeder containing popcorn; a cuckoo clock; a dish full of bubble-blowing fluid, with a large bubble wand laid in it; and a switch which activates a pump that inflates a balloon attached to the top of the dome.
- A chair is provided for the contestants to sit on, during the task.
- Although there are similarities between this task and the ‘Make all the things happen at the same time’ task, there are also enough differences that it is categorised as original here.
