Attempts

Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!

  • James looked at the socks, removing any that didn't look like a satsuma, before starting to strike the socks to find the satsuma in 9 minutes and 34 seconds.
  • Jessica tested the socks in the order of the task, putting her foot in the sock containing an egg before putting her foot in the sock with the satsuma inside it after 16 minutes and 56 seconds.
  • Kerry looked at the socks, removing those that didn't look like they contained satsumas, before striking the socks with a tennis racquet to find the satsuma in 8 minutes and 40 seconds.
  • Phil tried dropping the socks from the washing line to test what was in the socks, eventually finding a lime. He received 0 points.
  • Rhod went to cut the washing line, but instead put a tangerine he found in the house into a sock, then removed it, claiming he found the sock with a satsuma inside of it. He completed the task in 2 minutes and 31 seconds but only received 4 points because Greg was accused by James of bias towards Rhod.
