Task brief

The task brief is attached to a rubber duck, which is floating in a paddling pool in the driveway. The brief for the task is as follows:

Build a bridge.

Travel from point ‘A’ to point ‘B’.

The bridge must go over the water.

If you fall off of the bridge, David will seize all of the bridge parts from that bridge.

Before each attempt, you must say: ‘I’m going to the meadow and eating fat’.

The longest bridge that takes you from point ‘A’ to point ‘B’ wins.

You have 20 minutes.

Your time starts now.

Task notes

  • On either side of the paddling pool, there are two platforms made up of wooden pallets, labelled ‘A’ and ‘B’.
  • This task bears some similarities to the ‘Build a bridge for a vegetable’ task, but is distinct enough to be categorised here as original.
