Task briefs

Both the initial task brief and the follow-up brief are laid on the table in the lab. The briefs for the task are as follows:

Make a rule for a Kongen Befaler task which involves putting an egg in an egg cup as quickly as possible.

Put this egg in the egg cup.

You must follow these rules:

Use your mouth to move the egg.

Sing while performing the task.

Maintain eye contact with the camera throughout.

The egg cup must be on top of the egg.

Start in the lab. The egg cup is on the balcony.

Fastest one wins.

Task notes

Also on the table for the first part of the task, there a single raw egg laid on a small red cushion, a single white egg cup, and a pen and paper.
For the second part of the task, only the egg on its cushion is present on the lab in the table, while the egg cup has been moved up to a plinth on the balcony.
Although all of the contestants look away from the camera at some point during their attempts, Atle decides not to disqualify them all.
