In this version of the task, the alarm is set off after five seconds of silence, or when anyone says a word beginning with the letter ‘P’.

Task brief
The task brief is laid on a red platform near the shed, in the garden. The brief for the task is as follows:
Exit through the front gate, setting off the alarm the fewest times.
Whenever the alarm goes off, you must start again.
You may only step on the ‘stones’ that make up the path.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- A series of stepping stones made from white, yellow, and blue pieces of paper run from the platforms across the garden, up the steps, down the driveway, and to the open gates of the property.
- While the task brief is being read, Markl makes sure to clarify that the ‘stones’ being referred to are specifically the paper stepping stones, presumably to avoid the contestants interpreting it as referring to the cobblestones in the driveway.
- The siren sounds whenever the contestants are silent for more than five seconds, or whenever they say a word that starts with the letter ‘P’.
