Mastertask notes:

In this version of the task, the contestants have the option of carrying an empty briefcase, or carrying a single large brick inside it.

Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Deceive the Taskmaster.

Take the briefcase in front of you and walk behind the screen.

Behind the screen is a brick.

Decide behind the screen whether to put the brick in the briefcase or not.

Walk in front of the Taskmaster with the briefcase in your hand.

The Taskmaster will try to guess whether there is a brick in the briefcase or not.

If you succeed in deceiving the Taskmaster, you get a point.

Task notes

The contestants are lined up side-by-side on the stage.
When it is there turn, they must walk from behind the screen to a red marker spot in front of the screen and stand on it, at which point Jaakko may request that they perform actions with the briefcase (such as lifting it).
They must then walk back towards the other contestants and place the briefcase down on the table, where it is then opened to reveal whether or not there was a brick inside.
