Attempts
Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!
- David brought in 'the longest ever tin-can walkie-talkie' that was 17.64 metres long.
- Ed brought in a single strand of spaghetti that would be enough for one full portion and was 9 metres long.
- Jo brought in a jumper that she had knitted from a long piece of wool at university.
- Katy brought in a copy of War and Peace which had all of the pages removed and taped together to make one 136 metre long piece of paper.
- Rose brought in a strawberry lace lasso.
