The brief for the task is as follows:
Get the most carrot in your bucket.
You must hold your hands behind your back at all times.
You have 100 seconds.
Task notes
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each wearing a helmet and standing behind a bucket.
- A carrot is suspended just above each of their eyelines on a length of string which runs through a tube mounted on the helmet, with the other end tied around one of their ankles so that when they raise their leg backwards, the slack in the string lowers the carrot in front of them.
- Alex clarifies that the carrot must be “liberated” from its string when it is in the bucket, to prohibit the contestants from just leaning over to dangle it in.
