In this version of the task, only five items are presented to the contestants for them to guess whether each will float or sink, and they earn a point for each correct guess.

The brief for the task is as follows:
Predict whether the objects will float or sink.
If you predict correctly whether something sinks or floats, you get 1 point.
Most points wins.
Task notes
- The contestants remain seated in their chairs, and are equipped with two small black auction paddles reading ‘flyd’ (float) and ‘synk’ (sink).
- After the task brief is read, Mark explains that there are five objects in total, and that the points earned are actual episode points rather than just in-game points.
- The items used are as follows:
- A (very dense) ping pong ball
- An orange
- A (very dense) rubber duck
- A lime
- A model of the Titanic
- Mark takes each item from a box on a plinth next to Lasse, and the drops each object into a fish tank full of water on another plinth in the centre of the stage.
