Make a little model of the Chesham United mascot

Task notes

• There are five single-person standing pop-up tents lined up on the lawn.
• Inside the left-most tent, there is a treasure chest with a four-digit combination lock. Inside the chest, there are some craft supplies, including scissors, coloured paper, marker pens, googly eyes, and Play-Doh.
• Inside the second tent, there is a person wearing the real Chesham United mascot costume: a pig with a pink chess pawn on top of its head, known as ‘Chess Ham’. This mascot was genuinely designed by former Taskmaster UK contestant Sam Campbell and revealed at one of Chesham United’s annual comedy football fundraiser matches. The number ‘1879’ is printed on the back of the pawn on its head.
• Inside the third tent, there are a slice of ham on a red plate, and a folding wooden chess set, on a plinth. The number ‘1879’ is printed on the hinged edge of the chess set.
• Inside the fourth tent, there is a person in a decoy bear mascot costume, wearing a Chesham United football shirt with the number ‘1879’ printed on the front. An image of the real Chesham United mascot is printed on the back of its shirt.
• The contents of the fifth tent are not revealed within the episode, but were disclosed in an outtake: a piece of paper laid on a plinth, featuring the following description of the mascot:

  The Chesham United Mascot is a cartoonish pink pig, with a pink pawn chess piece sticking out of the top of its head. Its face is round, it has two cartoon eyes with blue irises, a snout, floppy ears and an open mouth. It is stood on its hind legs, with hooves for hands and feet. The hooves on its hands are plain pink but the feet have two darker pink triangles on each hoof. It also has a curly pink tail.

• The four-digit code ‘1879’ is a reference to the origins of the Chesham United football club (informally known as ‘The Generals’), in the form of the club Chesham Town FC, which was established in 1879. In 1917, the club merged with the Chesham Generals to become Chesham United.
