Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Anders is very quick to do the task. He stands on the chair and just throws eggs at the concrete pipes. When he realises that one of the concrete objects is a statue of an angel (it’s actually a girl holding two baskets), he declares that he wants to hit her in the face with an egg, and starts throwing eggs at her, eventually hitting her in the face. He does manage to throw one of his eggs into the 3-point pipe. Anders earns third place.
  • Jakob throws his eggs while sitting on the chair. He enlists Mark to act as a sort of backboard, and instructs him to stand next to certain concrete pipes and bat the egg in if necessary. This idea doesn’t really work, and Mark just ends up with egg all over himself. It’s not shown, but Jakob does manage to throw two eggs into 5-point pipes for a total score of 10. Jakob earns second place.
  • Annika looks at all of the pipes and finds one that awards a score of 25. She reads the task again, and reinterprets the phrase “release your eggs while on the chair”. She sits on the chair, drops an egg into her hand (thus “releasing” it), and runs it over to the 25-point pipe and places it inside. She repeats this process with her other eggs. While Lasse admires the thinking, he rejects Annika’s interpretation (mostly because she releases the egg again every time she places it in the 25-point pipe). Annika therefore has a total score of 0 for the game, but thanks to Mahamad’s attempt, earns fourth place in the task.
  • Mahamad sources some wood from somewhere near the field where the task takes place, and uses Mark to hold them in the shape of a ramp. He rolls one of his eggs down the wooden ramp into the 1-point pipe. When he turns to grab another egg, he notices that the eggs are balanced on a concrete pipe. He removes the eggs, sits on the chair, and carefully places all his remaining eggs in the pipe. It is then revealed in the studio that the pipe gives a score of -2 points. Since all of Mamahad’s eggs in the pipe were unbroken, it doubles his score, and he ends up with a score of -34 points. Mahamad therefore earns last place.
  • Neel sources two solid pipes and a long flexible tube from somewhere near the field where the task takes place. She uses Mark to hold one end of the long flexible tube at the entrance of one of the concrete pipes, and she stands on the chair and uses gravity to help the egg travel down the tube and into the pipe – it takes several tries, but Neel eventually figures out how to get the egg to travel down the long tube. To protect the egg, she wraps it in a rubber glove from the first aid kit. Neel reveals in the studio that she had no idea the pipes had points on them, and was just choosing based on proximity. Neel manages to get one (broken) egg into a 5-point pipe, and nine (whole) eggs into a 1-point pipe, and she ends up with a total score of 23 points. Neel wins the task.
