Attempts

Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!

  • David tried protecting the eggs with plasters before throwing them at the metal receptacles. He then decided that he could 'release' an egg into the lid of the first aid box, 'liberating' the egg, and then pour it into a metal receptacle worth 8 points.
  • Ed just threw the eggs at the metal receptacles, managing to get one into the 10 point receptacle (though it then leaked out of a hole in the back of it).
  • Jo made a tunnel for the eggs to go through, managing to get one into a metal receptacle worth 2 points. She then started throwing them randomly.
  • Katy started to throw the eggs, claiming she was just having fun, before making a tunnel from the chair to a metal receptacle worth 6 points. She then wrapped an egg in bandages and released it through the tunnel again, doubling her score to 12 points.
  • After throwing one egg and missing, Rose decided to put 9 of her eggs into the metal receptacle the eggs were provided on, unaware that it scored -5 points. As the eggs were not broken, she score -10 points altogether.
