The task brief is received on an open area of grass outside the Taskmaster house, where David awaits next to a large bowl full of rubber ducks, balanced on a tripod. The brief for the task is as follows:
Build a catapult, and catapult ducks into the pool.
Most ducks in the pool wins.
The catapulting must take place behind the rope.
You may not move the pool or the rope.
You have 20 minutes.
Your time starts now.

- Next to the bowl there is a velvet rope and, between 8 and 10 metres away, a paddling pool full of water.
