Attempts
Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!
- Einar very quickly guesses, in under 10 seconds, that the real Olli is the one on the bench. As he leaves, he asks if he is done, and all of the Ollis nod in response. It is at this point that he appears to notice that there were more Ollis in the garden than he had initially spotted. For being wrong but fast, he earns third place.
- Steinar notes that the standing Olli looks too short, and that the one on the bench has hairy hands. He notes that the Olli on the bike has blue hands and chest hair, and rules out the Olli in the tree for having spotted hands. He ends up choosing the Olli on the bench, after looking at his chest hair and noting his “Finnish fingers” (thus coining the episode title). In the studio, he describes “Finnish fingers” as being “cold, white, and slightly pointed”. For guessing incorrectly but not being the slowest to make a guess, he earns fourth place.
- Ida tries and fails to get the Olli on the bike to speak. She then tickles the Olli in the hammock, and shouts “boo” at him. She then investigates the sizes of the various Ollis more, notices the dry hands of the Olli in the tree, and gets a bit frustrated by her inability to identify the real one. Eventually, after kicking the Olli on the bench a few times, she guesses that the real Olli is the one in the tree. For guessing incorrectly, and being the slowest to make a guess, she earns last place.
- Solveig rules out the Olli who is standing up, and notes that the one on the bike has a hairy chest. She tries peeking underneath some of the boxes, and also hits a few of the Ollis. She eventually chooses the Olli on the bike because of the way he is holding his clipboard. She answers correctly in 1 minute and 56 seconds, which earns her second place.
- Amir identifies the correct Olli by a process of elimination. He first rules out the Olli who is standing up, then says the Olli in the hammock is too young. He notes that the Olli on the bench doesn’t have long enough fingers, and that the Olli in the tree is too white, and has freckles. He correctly identifies that the real Olli is the one on the bike after 1 minute and 4 seconds, and earns first place.
