Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Inês brings in a pacifier. Inês admits that for years, she used a pacifier as an adult until they made her teeth crooked. When she got a mouth guard to fix the problem, she realised that the feeling of satisfaction she got from the pacifier wasn’t from the sucking motion, but from the feel of it as it rested on the soft skin of upper lip. Vasco places Inês fourth.
  • Gilmário argues that his prize entry delivers much more than just satisfaction. Gilmário enters himself into the prize pool, and says that the winner will be allowed to take him home for a week. Vasco places Gilmário third.
  • Jessica submits what she calls the “maozinahas de ouro” (‘golden hands’) – i.e., Jessica submits a voucher for the winner to receive a massage from Nuno (who had no idea about it prior to the prize’s presentation). After feeling Nuno’s hands and confirming they are in fact golden, Vasco awards Jessica first place.
  • Toy says that the most satisfying thing in his life is his wife, and he did not want to bring her in. Instead, he offers what he thinks would be the most satisfying thing if the world ended and he was no longer married – a blow-up sex doll. Vasco places Toy fifth.
  • Jorge brings in a roll of bubble wrap. He says that his prize provides two levels of satisfaction – the sound the bubbles make when they're popped, and (presumably) the process of actually popping all the bubbles. Vasco places Jorge second.
