The task brief is found on top of a wheelie bin at the start of an obstacle course. The briefs for the task are as follows:
To Ève & Matthieu:
Get this bin across the finish line.
One of you must be in the bin at all times.
The other person must remain blindfolded at all times.
The bin rider must direct the bin conductor to navigate the obstacle course.
Nobody may speak French.
Your time starts now.
To Christine, Jo & Mehdi:

Task notes
- The task takes place on a paved area in an unknown location, where an obstacle course has been set up.
- Along the route of the course, the contestants must: reverse through a specific section; wait 11 seconds at one point; burst a balloon; high-five each other; and remove a pool noodle from the top of two sticks at the finishing line.
- Although not specified in the footage of the task brief being read out, the task was meant to be judged on a 'fastest wins' basis. However, other factors had to be taken into account also, such as whether the teams had completed the obstacles along the way correctly.
