Task brief

The actual text of the task brief is not known. The text below is paraphrased based on information disclosed in the episode:

Olli is going to spin the roulette wheel.

When it stops, you may choose to either get off, or stay on for another round.

There will be a total of three rounds, within which you must get off.

When you get off, if you have one leg in one number and one leg in another number, you get the points for the higher of the two numbers.

If two of you stand in the same number, then that number is divided by two.

Task notes

  • The contestants are all blindfolded and sat on a turntable on the stage.
  • The floor in the area surrounding the turntable is divided up into five segments with tape, each labelled with a number between one and five.

Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Henriette chooses to get off the roulette wheel after the first spin, and ends up standing in the section worth four points. However, because one of Kristoffer's feet is also in the section, she only earns half of these points.
  • Martha chooses to get off the roulette wheel after the second spin, and ends up standing in the section worth five points, winning the task.
  • Live chooses to get off the roulette wheel after the second spin, and ends up standing in the section worth three points.
  • Espen stays on the roulette wheel for all three spins, and ends up standing in the section worth two points.
  • Kristoffer stays on the roulette wheel for all three spins, and ends up straddling the line between the sections worth three and four points (though it could be argued that this was largely down to Olli's assistance with helping him dismount in the section worth three points without colliding with Live). As a result of his position, he ends up with half of the points available in the four point section: just two points.
