The task brief is laid on top of a red pedal bin with googly eyes, mounted on top of a robot vacuum cleaner, in a small room at the Wormsley Estate. The brief for the task is as follows:
Avoid the rubbish robots.
You may not remove your blindfold at any point, and at least one of your knees must be touching the floor throughout.
Longest time untouched by a rubbish robot wins.
Your time starts when the rubbish robots start.
Task notes
- Next to the first pedal bin vacuum cleaner robot (or ‘rubbish robot’), there is an identical second one, on top of which there are some black-out goggles for the contestant to wear.
- Also in the room, there are several battery-operated toys which are already running: a plush robot dog which barks, walks and sits; two Weazel Balls; and a plush hamster in a ball.
