In this version of the task, the contestants must carry a flagpole from the top floor of an office building to a parasol base set up in the square outside. They do not get to choose the starting length of the pole. The goal is to complete the task the most quickly, and every time the pole touches something other than their hands, 30 seconds is added to their time.

Task brief

The task brief is presented to the contestants by Olli on the top floor of the SpareBank 1 office building in Oslo. The brief for the task is as follows:

Plant this flag in the parasol base that is outside in the square.

The pole cannot be modified.

If the pole touches anything but your hands, you get 30 seconds added to the time.

Task notes

This task starts in an office occupied by the production company Nordisk Banijay, on the top floor of an office building owned by SpareBank 1, on Hammersborggata, in Oslo.
The contestants find Olli stood next to a long red pole with a Kongen Befaler themed flag and two small cameras attached to it.
The task ends in the adjacent open square of Arbeidersamfunnets plass (‘Worker society’s place’), where a parasol base has been set up.
