Task brief
The brief for the task is as follows:
Catch the most monsters in your boxes.
The monsters must propel themselves from the table.
Most monsters in boxes after two minutes wins.
Task notes
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each standing behind a plinth on which there are 20 pop-up monster toys arranged in a grid.
- Each contestant is wearing overalls and a mortarboard hat, to which cardboard boxes have been attached in various places. They each also have a bucket strapped to their backs, and are wearing safety goggles.
- After the task brief is read, Alex clarifies that monsters caught in the box on the contestants’ arms are worth one monster, monsters caught in the box on their head are worth two monsters, monsters caught in the box on their leg are worth three monsters, monsters caught in in the bucket on their back are worth four monsters, and monsters caught in the box on their shoulders are worth five monsters.
