Task brief
The brief for the task is as follows:
Catch monsters in your containers.
Your monsters must fly from the table to the containers without any other influence.
Most monsters after 100 seconds wins.
Your time starts on David’s signal.
Task notes
- This task takes place during the ‘Middle of the Show’ segment, as a game titled ‘Monsterfångst’ (‘Monster catch’).
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each standing behind a plinth upon which there are 20 spring-loaded jumping monster toys of various designs.
- Each contestant is wearing a set of black overalls to which some small open-topped cardboard boxes have been attached, and a mortarboard hat topped with a low open-topped box. They also have a red bucket attached to their backs.
- Any monsters caught in the box on their right arm are worth just one monster, while any caught in the box on their head are worth two, any caught in the box on their left leg are worth three, any caught in the bucket on their back are worth four, and any caught in the box on their left shoulder are worth five.
