Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Paint a face on your ball.

You may not touch your balls with anything other than your tools.

The most attractive face wins.

Also, you may not remove your helmet.

You have 200 seconds.
A shot from the back of the Taskmaster studio stage shot towards the audience who can't be seen very well. The contestants are seen on the stage facing away from the camera. They are wearing dark blue coveralls, tan work boots, and red bicycle helmets. Attached to their helmets are black polls that have yellow foam balls hanging from them with wire.

Task notes

  • The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each standing behind a table, and each wearing a helmet and overalls.
  • An arm has been attached at an angle to each helmet, and a large yellow foam ball is hanging from the end of the arm, just within reach, but slightly above each contestant’s eyeline.
  • On each table, the contestants are provided with paints and paintbrushes, scissors, hair of various colours, and a set of salad tongs.
