The initial task brief is laid on top of a box in the middle of a circular red mat on the porch of the mansion. The six other task briefs are spaced out evenly around the perimeter of the mat. The briefs for the task are as follows:
Complete all of the tasks.
You may open the next envelope only after you have completed the task in the envelope you have already opened.

Put seven garden-related items into a wheelbarrow, and take them into the playhouse.
Build a brick tower higher than 50cm on this mat.
Knock down at least one bowling pin by bowling.
Place one of your hands on your hip, and keep it there for the rest of the tasks.
Hide the jigsaw pieces in the forest.
Complete the jigsaw puzzle.
Task notes
- Also on the mat, there are a pile of actual bricks, a gift box containing a 12-piece child’s puzzle picturing two puppies playing, six bowling pins in a pile, and a small toy wheelbarrow.
- The mini-task about collecting garden items only states ‘a wheelbarrow’, and not ‘this wheelbarrow’, so the contestants could technically have used the regular-sized wheelbarrow near the shed, if they’d thought of it.
