The brief for the task is as follows:
Predict whether an object makes a higher or lower sound than the previous object.
Most correct predictions wins.
Task notes
- The contestants remain seated, and are each equipped with a double-sided paddle, with one side reading ‘højere’ (‘higher’) and the other side reading ‘lavere’ (‘lower’).
- The noises made in each round are as follows:
- ringing sleigh bells
- stirring a bowl of ornaments with a large wooden spoon
- cracking open a chestnut
- a cymbal monkey
- unwrapping a gift “with the enthusiasm of a spoiled child”
- dropping a bag full of ‘risengrød’ (Danish rice pudding) onto the table
