Mastertask notes:

In this version of the task, the items to be pinched, protected, or plundered are plastic salmon, and the salmon represent in-game points, rather than episode points.

Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Plunder, pinch, or protect salmon in your salmon box.

If you choose to pinch, you may take one salmon from any salmon box.

If you choose to plunder, you may take all salmon from any salmon box.

If you choose to protect, no one may plunder your salmon box, but you are not protected from someone pinching a salmon from your salmon box.

The one with the most salmon in their salmon box at the end of the task wins.

Task notes

This task takes place during the ‘Middle of the Show’ segment, as a game titled ‘Tre laxar i en laxask’ (‘Three salmon in a salmon box’), which is a slight twist on a well-known Swedish tongue-twister, ‘Sex laxar i en laxask’ (‘Six salmon in a salmon box’).
The contestants are lined up side-by-side on the stage, each standing behind a plinth upon which there is a box containing three small fake salmon. The box has been dressed up with netting and buoys.
The contestants are each equipped with a chalkboard and a piece of chalk, which they must use to write down thei intended action for each round of the game.
