The brief for the task is as follows:
Hang the medallion around your neck.
You must not take off your raincoat, or break the box.
Fastest wins.
Task notes
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each wearing a long raincoat, and standing behind a table upon which there is a padlocked toolbox.
- The various pockets in the raincoat contain a satsuma, a 1 euro coin, a series of colourful handkerchiefs tied together, and a key for the padlock.
- Inside the toolbox, there is a smaller locked box, requiring a key, which is hidden inside the satsuma (in a move possibly inspired by Victoria Coren Mitchell’s search of her own satsuma in the original version of this task, for which she was mocked by Alex).
- The medallion is found inside the smaller locked box.
