Task brief

The task brief is presented to the contestants by Alex, who is seated on the back of Linda the cow, in the garden. The brief for the task is as follows:

Give Alex exactly 100 marbles on a plate, and an egg cup full of tepid water.

One of you must always be sitting down, one of you must always be jumping, and one of you must always be clapping your hands.

You must each change your action every 30 seconds, and no-one may hold anything for more than five seconds at a time.

Fastest wins.

Your time starts when Alex blows his whistle.

Task notes

As each of the contestants arrives, Alex asks them if they’ve ever sat on a cow.
There are 101 marbles lined up along three cracks in the table in the hutch.
There is a red and white striped egg cup in a goblet, which Olli the statue is holding in one of his hands.
The statue of Greg is holding two small insulated flasks full of water: one hot, and one cold.
There is a plate on one of the shelves in the shed.
To help the contestants find all of these items, there is a simple map of the grounds of the house on the back of the task brief, with the locations marked.
