Task briefs

The task brief is laid underneath a rubber duck dressed as a ship’s captain on a plinth on the field of the Complexo Municipal de Atletismo Carla Sacramento (Municipal Athletic Complex Carla Sacramento) in Amora. The briefs for the task are as follows:

Complete 11 laps without leaving the golf cart.

One rule will be added with each lap.

Rule 1: the golf cart must always be in motion, and may not go over 8 km per hour.

Whenever a rule is broken, 100 seconds will be added to your time.

Fastest wins.

Your time starts when Markl waves the flag.

Rule 2: Swap all shoes at the start of each lap.

Rule 3: Put one duck in the bathtub every lap.

Rule 4: High-five Markl and cat-call him every time you pass him.

Rule 5: From now on, honk the horn exactly once per minute for the remaining laps.

Rule 6: Cool lap – everyone must wear sunglasses during this lap.

Rule 7: Make an amazing hot dog for Markl during this lap.

Rule 8: Shout ‘This is so cool!’ in unison exactly once per minute for the remaining laps.

Rule 9: One of you must have a mouthful of sparkling water during this lap.

Rule 10: Everyone must remain quiet and make as little noise as possible during this lap.

Rule 11: Honk your horn exactly 21 times at the end of the task.

Task notes

A large circle has been marked out on the field with red-and-white-striped caution tape.
Markl is standing inside of the circle, alongside the various props required for the task, including a picnic basket of hotdog ingredients and a basket full of rubber ducks.
The bathtub is also inside of the circle, but positioned on the opposite side.
On the outside of the boundary circle, there is a golf cart.
