Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Steinar claims to the audience that, to him, the show isn’t just a competition, and he doesn’t actually want to ask for their votes, since everyone else is just as good a choice as him. He encourages people to vote for the other contestants instead. His attempt at reverse psychology fails miserably, and he only receives 10% of the vote, putting him in last place.
  • Einar panders to the local Drammen crowd by talking about how Drammen is Norway’s best city, and saying that they should vote for him if they want Drammen to be the capital of Norway. He then starts shouting a local Drammen football chant, with which the crowd enthusiastically joins in. He ultimately receives 33% of the votes, and earns first place.
  • Amir tries to appeal to the audience’s sympathy by claiming that his eye doctor had told him he was missing 20 points to go and have surgery in Germany. He says that if the audience give him 5 points, he could fix the eye problem he’d mentioned during the prize task. At the end of his allotted time, he also compliments both the audience and his fellow competitors. He receives 20% of the vote, and ends up in third place.
  • Solveig sets up a collection of plastic bottles with varying amounts of water in them, and then attempts to play them as a musical instrument by blowing across their tops, to make a tune. She earns 14% of the vote, and fourth place.
  • Ida argues to the audience that she is still in a position to win the episode, and that her beating Einar and Steinar would be great for “girl power”. She also says that she has a nude photo of Einar, which she will reveal if people vote for her. She earns 23% of the vote, and second place.
