Make this teddy bear disappear.

Sherlock Olli will be arriving at the property in 20 minutes.

The mystery Olli takes the longest to solve wins.

Your time starts now.

Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Karin's first question, upon reading the task brief, is whether she can cut the teddy bear up. However, she apparently thinks better of it, and decides that she wants to hoist the bear up into a tree, out of Olli's line of sight. The result of this is that it appears she has lynched the bear. The bear actually turns out to be very visible, from many positions around the garden, and Karin is painfully aware of this fact, but Olli somehow does not notice it until he is pretty much directly underneath it. In the studio, Olli reveals that it took him 5 minutes and 52 seconds to find the bear, putting her in fourth place.
  • Leo carries the bear up to the attic, where he finds a wooden chest large enough to hide it in. The chest has clearly been left there as a trap by the production team, though, since the there is no latch on the lid to hook over the metal loop it already has on it for a padlock. Thus, when Leo fastens a padlock through the loop, he realises that it is doing nothing to secure the contents. Instead, he fetches a hammer and nails, and nails the lid down. Unfortunately, he forgets to cover his tracks afterwards, leaving the light to the attic on, and the hammer leant against the wall. Olli is therefore quickly able to identify what has happened, and use the hammer conveniently provided to pry the lid back off. In the studio, Olli reveals that it took him 20 minutes and 47 seconds to find the bear, putting Leo in third place.
  • Lars quickly decides that he's going to 'hide' the bear by getting it up onto the roof of the house. He tries to throw it up onto the roof from the balcony a couple of times, but it just slides straight off. He then leans out of a dormer window, in the attic, and manages to swing it up and onto the top of the structure. However, he does not take into account the fact that this part of the house is clearly visible from the driveway, believing that it was on the opposite side of the house. Olli is thus able to spot the bear within 15 seconds of arriving at the property. Lars therefore places last in the task.
  • Vidar decides that the key to hiding the bear is making it smaller. He folds the bear up and wraps it tightly in duct tape, creating a much smaller and rounder object, which he then hides among all of the items stored in the basement. Olli does take a quick look in the basement, having apparently searched everywhere else in the house, but does not spot the now very well disguised object down there. Olli leaves the property without discovering the bear, so Vidar earns joints first place with Hani.
  • Hani decides to hide the bear behind the fridge, which she also slides closer to the wall next to it, after identifying that the bear can clearly be seen through the gap. She also decides to create a variety of decoys to slow Olli down, by scattering large items around outside the garage, leaving a ladder leant up against the garage roof, and throwing two garden chairs up onto the caravan. Olli does look in the kitchen, and even opens up the fridge to look inside it, but does not think to check behind. He also falls for all of Hani's decoys, while acknowledging that he knows what she is up to with them. Olli leaves the property without discovering the bear, so Hani earns joints first place with Vidar.
