Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Write a sentence that makes sense, and uses as many letters as possible, with these letters.

You'll lose 10 points for each unused letter.

You have three minutes.

Your time starts now.

Task notes

The task takes place in the lab, where a set of seemingly random wooden letter tiles are scattered across the table in no particular order.
Unknown to the contestants, the letters are exactly the ones needed to spell out the phrase "EN SETNING SOM GIR MENING OG BRUKER SÅ MANGE BOKSTAVER SOM MULIG", which means "A SENTENCE THAT MAKES SENSE AND USES AS MANY LETTERS AS POSSIBLE".
This task bears some similarities to the 'Make a stirring speech out of the bunting' task from series 13 of Taskmaster UK, but is different enough that it is categorised as original here.

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

Leo creates the sentence 'Le no Osgeir. Kremen er sa germansk i Notting.' ['Laugh now, Osgeir. The cream is so Germanic in Notting.']. He'd actually started out with the real Norwegian name 'Åsgeir', but had to switch it to the made-up name 'Osgeir', to re-use the 'Å' elsewhere. In the studio, he tries to claim that is is an old Viking expression. Bård gives him a pass on his creative spelling and grammar, and he earns third place, as he left 17 tiles unused.
Vidar falls into a fit of giggles during his attempt, and is barely able to read out his finished sentence, which is 'Noen sigger senere og buken tar liv mångt gong.' ['Some people smoke later and the abdomen takes lives meny taimes']. 'Mångt gong' is very much mis-spelled, and Vidar tries to claim, in the studio, that it is a Swedish-Norwegian slang term. Bård gives him a pass on his creative spelling and grammar, and he earns fourth place, as he left 15 tiles unused.
Hani creates the sentence 'Skru av monitor og snu meg nå.' ['Switch off the monitor and turn me around now.']. In the studio, when some of the other contestants get a pass on their creative spelling and grammar, she notes to Bård that it is very interesting "when you care about the rules, and when you don't". With the task being judged purely on the number of letters left over, Hani earns last place, with 30 unused tiles.
Lars enters the lab dressed in the same clothes as Olli, and proceeds to impersonate his mannerisms, before asking him how much he gets paid for his role. He even starts a stopwatch and blows a whistle at Olli. Once he begins the task, he suspects that there is a trick to it that he is missing, but never figures out what it might be. Instead, he ends up writing 'Geir er inne i mosken og raver' ['Geir is inside the mosque and is raving']. He earns fourth place, since he left 29 tiles unused.
Karin is the only contestant who identifies the solution presented in the task brief, writing out 'En setning som gir mening og bruker så mange bokstaver som mulig' ['A sentence that makes sense and uses as many letters as possible'], with just a couple of seconds to spare. She therefore wins the task, as she has no letters left over.
