Task brief
The task brief is presented alongside an ear of corn on a plinth near the edge of the lawn behind the Taskmaster house. The brief for the task is as follows:
Control a blindfolded teammate through the maze without touching the rope.
You may not repeat any words in your directions.
Only the blindfolded teammate may enter the maze.
You cannot remove the blindfold.
If you touch the rope or repeat a word, the blindfolded teammate must return to the start of the maze.
Fastest maze completion wins.
Task notes
- A short maze has been marked out with stakes and rope on the lawn, in which the pathways start out quite wide and then get narrower towards the end.
- Some obstacles are also placed around the maze, including bales of hay, a scarecrow, and flowers.
- The start of the maze is marked with a fibreglass lion, and the exit of the maze is marked by a fibreglass sheep and lamb.
- There are some similarities between this task and the 'Wheelie bin obstacle course' task, but they are different enough that this is categorised as original here.
